One of my first clients, andalucia-property.biz, along with my first ever property sales website, is back. The site had resolved following a slump in the Spanish property market but, with light at the end of the tunnel and Spanish banks lending again, the site has returned and been revamped for 2011. The new site should be around for the next twelve months whilst the client looks to sell its last few remaining properties in the Andalucia region of Spain. http://www.andalucia-property.biz
Happy (2nd week of the) New Year…
Well… it’s already the 2nd working week (and first full working week) of 2011. So far, we’ve been busy finishing off a number of projects that started last year as well as a few taken on in late December and early January. These include a number of internal communications projects for Stagecoach and Winter Sale materials for megabus.com. This week, we also kick off new website projects for Spark and Velvet, a new shoot with Saša Savić, artwork for the upcoming new album by The Humans and a number of digital music releases for Toyah (as well as an exciting 2011 tour identity)… and a whole lot more! I’ve also been working on a new portfolio book, collecting some of my work from my very first freelance commission in 2002 up to the here and now!

The key to further success?
Our latest client, Fabulets Letting Agency, has launched Fabusales – branching out into property sales. The agency, based in Newcastle City Centre, is hoping to build upon the success of its first two years of trading with this diversification into a new area of the property market. Site 3.0 for Toyah, site 1.0 for The Humans…
Three years to the month since I redesigned the official Toyah Willcox website, www.toyahwillcox.com, the site has re-launched again with a more modern approach. The site was developed fully in flash to coincide with the release of Toyah’s first digital single in 2007. Although the site that fitted, aesthetically, Toyah’s career direction it soon became user-unfriendly with the emergence of the smart phone and increasing use of mobile web technology. The aim of the new site is not only to provide a comprehensive career archive, a frequently updated news portal and an outlet for new music, video and imagery, it has been developed with a view to improving access for mobile users.
And as toyahwillcox.com enters its third incarnation, thehumansofficial is also born. This is the first official website for Toyah’s ‘other’ new music project – a band she formed in 2007 with Bill Rieflin (REM) and her musical director and live band bass player Chris Wong.
New e-commerce engine for UNIQUE…
UNIQUE Natural Products has taken off so well that I have installed a new shopping cart system using RomanCart. The aim is to open up the offering to non-PayPal users. Customers can now also pay by credit/debit card, cheque and bank transfer. http://uniquenaturalproducts.co.uk
